The Real Game of Power: How We’re Being Played

Unite—does this word sound familiar? If you said yes, it’s because it’s in the name of our beautiful country…or our country that was once beautiful. That’s at least what they want you to believe. I don’t want you to think this country doesn’t have its perks, because it does—it’s just smaller than the disadvantages we’re being given by a country that is supposed to be the land of the free.

There are even songs about the United States of America being the land of the free…but if you look around, you’ll start to ask yourself, “Am I really free?” It’s not even a requirement to look around because it often becomes firsthand. You can feel the injustice your ancestors experienced years ago.

If you read Why Are You Letting Them Win, I tell you that Capitalism is important. Capitalism is what keeps the world spinning. It’s what keeps our violence rates down. I know some people aren’t fond of the idea, but it’s what keeps people wealthy. That and strategy.

While money isn’t the sole factor why people choose to commit crimes, it is a huge part. Capitalism may not be a favorite topic, but it’s important to understand. If no one teaches it, then everything along with everyone will be destroyed. Capitalism has a connection to wealth—we should all know that, but I’m going to break it down.

THE MIGHTY WITCH HUNT

I can simply tell you the one thing wealthy people believe in, but that will be very controversial. What I can tell you, though, is that it’s not just luck or hard work. It goes way deeper than that, than some people are willing to go. And it’s not just laziness, so before you take it there, I need you to get a pen and paper to jot down some notes and actually listen.

If you’ve been with me before or right when I came out with White Supremacy Is Hurting America - Part Two of T.E.I.I.T.H, you would know I’ve talked about it before, but I didn’t necessarily point it out. See, when I say—“everyone deserves to go to the promised land,” I know how it sounds. It makes some people tense up because…

“Is it even a real thing?” Or maybe “so and so did that, so I don’t think he deserves to share a promised land with me.”

To that, yes, it’s a real thing—you’re just far from it. And maybe if you stop being judgmental for one second and realize everyone has their reasoning for doing or saying what they do. Now, when I talk about wealth, I am in no shape or form defending any billionaire or trillionaire because the one thing it comes down to is greed. Some don’t know when to give or to take, or simply when enough is enough.

What I’m saying is true wealth has been taught to you; some just turned their backs on it. You don’t have to be “special” to be wealthy. You just have to be strategic, wise, and grounded. Because honestly, wealth is just stability. And that, my friends, is something I want to teach you about because it’s a birthright.

THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL 

Have you ever heard the saying, “Rip off the Band-Aid?” Well, if you haven’t, it’s an idiom used when something unpleasant is revealed. That’s why I’m about to share this ugly truth with you, because the truth will surely set you free.

Now, no matter your feelings or beliefs, the government will always do you dirty. I’m going to lay it out plain and simple: the government is one of the wealthiest buildings in the world. You're so busy talking about billionaires (justifiably so) that you don’t see what’s happening in front of you. I’m giving you this knowledge, so you can help me on a mission because it is bigger than me, plus this truth you should’ve heard long ago.

You probably suspected it, but didn’t want to say anything, because there are more of those who choose to be complicit—it could be you were lied to or pressured; just know it happens. Let me clear my throat and get a megaphone because…the system is failing because they’re lying to you. I’m not talking, just telling a little white lie here and there—we all do that. I’m talking withholding vital information because power is one hell of a drug.

If you think it’s not the whole government, well, buddy, do I have something to tell you. SKkrttt! Stop the breaks—before any of you come at me with pitchforks (that means people in power too…I’m watching you), how much do you actually think goes on in that White House? Do you think they haven’t met before a debate?

I want you to think of reality TV shows. Do you really believe in Love Island or Big Brother? They truly don’t know what’s going on? They’re fooling you with scraps. If they really wanted to end world hunger, they could. And I’m not talking EBT, I’m talking about giving more to the citizens of America. When it becomes difficult for the average everyday worker to survive, that should be a concern for the government, so your wages should automatically increase. I didn't say it was going to be easy, but it's supposed to be people over profit—you can ask any philosopher this, so I'm not talking out of thin air.

Canada has free healthcare…have you stopped to ask yourself why? Now, I’m not saying it would get rid of all your problems, but it would make your life a hell of a lot easier. You often hear, “There’s enough money to go around,” but you’re left empty-handed. Taking scraps—and I’m not blaming us, everyday citizens. They just don’t teach what’s supposed to be taught.

Think of chronically ill people. The chronically ill need medication to survive. But guess how much that medicine costs? I just want you to take a wild guess. And you wonder why there are so many homeless people. Now, if you're still waiting for the answer to how much it costs, I can't tell you specifics, but I can tell you a pretty penny. And guess what? If they never made it accessible to an able person to be taught the proper way to store and grow money, what makes you think they did for a disabled person?

POP GOES THE WEASEL 

See, as your big sister, I’m always going to keep it real, even if it hurts. They’re stealing from you, and you deserve to know. They hear your tears. Your rants. See your harmful actions. They just don’t care. They never did. But I do. That’s why I’m telling you. 

If you’re outraged, then you’re finally accepting, but don’t go out committing crimes because “they deserve it.” Let me tell you now that isn’t and never be my message. My mission is to educate you so you understand, and we can make permanent solutions.
